Role Overview

We are seeking a warm, high-energy, and professional Waiter / Waitress to anchor our front-of-house service team. Your primary objective is to maximize guest satisfaction by delivering attentive, seamless, and efficient food and beverage service within our dining room. This position bridges fast-paced operational multitasking with high-standard customer relations; you will steer the guest journey from initial seating welcomes and technical menu consultations through to order dispatch and accurate bill processing. The role calls for a detail-oriented service professional who thrives in a bustling restaurant environment and takes pride in flawless dining etiquette.

Areas of Accountability

Guest Relations & Order Management

• Welcome arriving guests with authentic warmth, guide them to designated tables, and present seasonal menus.

• Consult authoritatively on menu ingredients, accurately communicate daily culinary specials, and resolve specific dietary inquiries.

• Capture food and beverage selections precisely, transmitting specifications immediately to the kitchen and bar teams.

• Monitor guest tables during meals, proactively anticipating secondary requests, clearing used plates, and organizing table resets.

• Process dining invoices, manage cash/card transaction hanks accurately, and execute closing procedures in line with store rules.

Floor Operations & Section Maintenance

• Structure and dress assigned dining sectors prior to service hours, arranging tables, linens, cutlery, and polished glassware.

• Maintain top-tier cleanliness and organization across service stations, food pickup counters, and active guest walkways.

• Execute structured daily opening and closing floor routines, verifying inventory supplies and resetting layout spaces.

• Collaborate fluidly with side service stations, expeditors, and bar bars to keep general kitchen-to-floor workflows running seamlessly.

Health, Hygiene & Safety Compliance

• Maintain an immaculate personal presentation, adherence to professional grooming codes, and high standards of cleanliness.

• Enforce strict compliance with local public health regulations, food contamination prevention rules, and internal sanitation paths.

• Identify and report any kitchen hazards, malfunctioning coffee/POS machines, or broken dining infrastructure to the shift supervisor.

Collective Performance & Training

• Participate closely in pre-shift floor briefings, inventory review updates, and ongoing customer hospitality training tracks.

• Support alternate service lanes and food runners during peak operational bottlenecks to uphold restaurant service speeds.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum Entry Criteria

• Academic Foundation: Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or a related field.

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active service experience handling busy floor covers inside a restaurant, hotel, café, or matching hospitality setup.

• Service Acuity: Thorough functional knowledge of traditional fine dining layouts, international menu structures, and standard table settings.
