Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, strategically minded Supply Chain Officer to orchestrate our procurement framework and optimize our central logistics pipelines. Your primary mandate is to manage the end-to-end movement of raw materials and finished goods, balancing cost-efficiency with absolute operational reliability. This position bridges rigorous compliance auditing with hands-on team leadership; you will oversee our regional resource hub workflows, guiding materials from international supplier sourcing and freight customs clearance through to final distribution audits. The role calls for a meticulous logistics manager who understands downstream supply chain architectures and can seamlessly mitigate pipeline risks to support our community-focused empowerment initiatives.
Areas of Accountability

Source, vet, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers for raw inputs, production materials, and core operational kits.
-
Analyze incoming competitive quotations, compile detailed commercial evaluations, and recommend fiscally prudent procurement options.
-
Process formal Purchase Orders and maintain complete, unassailable documentation trails across the entire acquisition lifecycle.
-
Collaborate with finance departments to validate vendor invoice schedules, reconcile accounts, and support monthly financial reporting.
-
Monitor supplier delivery timelines, production milestones, and adherence to technical manufacturing specifications to reduce lead times.
International Shipping & Freight Coordination
-
Coordinate local transport networks and complex international shipping freight solutions for inbound and outbound materials.
-
Liaise with external freight forwarders, clearing agents, and port authorities to ensure swift, hassle-free customs clearance.
-
Verify, manage, and safeguard all maritime, air, and overland shipping manifests, certificates of origin, and tax documentation.
-
Isolate potential shipping delays or transit bottlenecks early, enacting proactive routing changes to insulate operational continuity.
Inventory Control & Strategic Hub Supervision
-
Oversee the end-to-end warehousing models, material handling protocols, and stocking systems managed by the hub coordinator.
-
Conduct strict reviews of regular inventory statements, verifying that digital asset logs perfectly match physical stock counts.
-
Set min-max stock parameters and coordinate responsive replenishment strategies to prevent sudden material shortages or costly overstocking.
-
Lead comprehensive quarterly stock counts alongside finance managers to eliminate discrepancies and maintain absolute ledger accuracy.
-
Supervise, mentor, and guide resource hub coordinators, mapping out efficient daily workflows and assessing operational execution speeds.
Compliance Documentation & Performance Metrics
-
Build, structure, and maintain neat physical and digital filing cabinets for all shipping licenses, procurement audits, and warehouse logs.
-
Formulate and present data-driven periodic metrics tracking critical variables such as order fulfillment rates, warehouse turnarounds, and supplier reliability.
-
Uphold strict internal control standards, ensuring every material movement complies perfectly with organizational bylaws and external regulatory rules.
