Minimum Requirements (Likely)

Applicants should:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Education, Finance, ICT, Risk Management, or related fields (depending on role).

  • Have prior experience in teaching service management, auditing, or leadership.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and strategic management skills.

  • Be familiar with TSC regulations, the Constitution of Kenya (2010), and education sector policies.

  • Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with TSC’s mission of professionalizing the teaching service for quality education.

  • Senior roles (Deputy Directors, Senior Deputy Directors) require proven expertise in leadership, policy development, and sector‑specific knowledge.

  • Principal Officer roles require practical experience in teacher management, staffing, and discipline.

  • Assistant Director roles require field experience and strong operational management skills.
