We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts & Finance Manager to join our client's real estate operations in Ajman on a contract basis. The role will focus on managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, identify trends, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Manage and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.

Revenue Management

• Develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize profitability and occupancy levels.
• Conduct market analysis to determine competitive rental pricing.
• Ensure effective pricing strategies and inventory allocation for holiday homes.
• Monitor booking channel performance and optimize revenue streams.
• Apply dynamic pricing models to respond to market demand and competition.
• Prepare periodic revenue performance reports and identify growth opportunities.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor liquidity to ensure adequate funds for operational requirements.
• Develop and implement cash flow optimization strategies, including working capital management and cash forecasting.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage departmental and organizational budgets aligned with strategic goals.
• Implement cost control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective measures.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to local tax laws and timely submission of tax filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Streamline financial operations by implementing standardized accounting practices and unified reporting structures across all group entities.
• Ensure alignment with internal SOPs, cross-functional workflows, and regulatory frameworks to enhance transparency and operational efficiency.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and enforce strong governance standards.

Inter-Company Coordination & Integration

• Establish unified chart of accounts across group companies.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and standardized documentation practices.
• Implement automated reporting tools to strengthen financial connectivity and support timely decision-making.

Financial Strategy & Advisory

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Evaluate financial feasibility of new projects and business expansion initiatives.
• Contribute actively to strategic planning and executive decision-making processes.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster high performance and professional growth.
• Promote effective collaboration within the finance function and across departments.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure internal audit readiness through disciplined documentation, regulatory compliance, and performance monitoring.
• Strengthen financial governance and maintain clean, audit-ready records at all times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in an accounting/auditing/consulting firm preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.).
• CPA, CMA, CA or ACCA preferred
