Description:

High Trust Group is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with hands-on experience in infrastructure and earthwork projects to join their technical team. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in preparing accurate engineering drawings and supporting project teams through precise drafting and technical documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed infrastructure drawings, earthwork layouts, and technical documentation using advanced drafting tools. The role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, surface modeling, grading design, and earthwork calculations, ensuring that project documentation meets engineering standards and project requirements.

Working closely with engineers, architects, and site teams, the Draftsman will play an important role in transforming conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings. The position also involves reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback, ensuring that all documents reflect updated site conditions and project specifications.

This role requires a high level of technical accuracy, strong software skills, and the ability to maintain organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently while maintaining coordination with project teams to ensure the timely delivery of drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed earthwork and infrastructure drawings using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or other drafting tools
• Develop alignments, corridors, grading models, and feature lines for infrastructure projects
• Create shop drawings, technical layouts, and as-built drawings based on design and site information
• Conduct cut and fill analysis and prepare accurate volume calculation reports
• Update and revise drawings according to engineer, architect, or project team feedback
• Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and conceptual designs to produce accurate drafting outputs
• Maintain organized records of drawing files, revisions, and project documentation
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, engineering requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Produce as-built documentation using site data and project updates
• Assist with quantity take-offs and material estimations when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure and earthwork projects
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Earthwork volume calculations
  • Surface modelling techniques
  • Grading design principles
  • Corridor modelling for infrastructure projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions efficiently
