A long-established contracting company in Dubai is currently seeking to hire two experienced Accountants to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have previously worked within the UAE contracting or construction environment and understand the dynamics of project-based accounting. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

The selected candidates will work closely with the Finance Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting project cost monitoring, and ensuring full compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT requirements. The role requires someone comfortable handling multiple projects while ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities include assisting in maintaining accounting records, tracking and analyzing project expenses, supporting cost control processes, and preparing financial reports. Candidates will also handle subcontractor payments, retention accounting, reconciliations, and ensure that all documentation aligns with regulatory standards.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and possess 3 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and hands-on experience with project-based accounting are essential for this role.

Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is required. Advanced MS Excel skills, strong analytical ability, and keen attention to detail are also important. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA (partially or fully qualified) will be considered an added advantage. Good communication skills in English are necessary to effectively coordinate within the finance team and with project stakeholders.
