Job Description
  • We are in search of a skilled Human Resources Officer to manage the routine functions of the HR department including resourcing, leave management, discipline/grievance handling and management, performance management and enforcing company policies and practices.

Role Description - Key roles

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other work-related issues;
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process;
  • Supporting current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;
  • Nurturing a positive working environment;
  • Managing the performance evaluation system that drives high performance;
  • Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management 
  • Handling workplace disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration – a MUST have, 
  • CHRP Qualification will be an added advantage
  • Active member of IHRM
  • Proven experience as HR officer as a generalist in a fast-paced organization
  • Knowledge of HR functions 
  • Good understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
