Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our freight forwarding operations in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA). This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in UAE freight pricing who can manage import and export quotations while maintaining strong relationships with airlines and shipping lines.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive pricing, supporting sales activities, and ensuring a high standard of customer service across air, sea, and land shipments.

Key responsibilities include:

Pricing & Quotation Management:
• Negotiating competitive freight rates with airlines and shipping lines
• Preparing and managing pricing and quotations for import and export shipments (air, sea, and land)
• Maintaining an updated pricing database covering freight charges, surcharges, and carrier costs
• Ensuring adherence to internal pricing policies and suggesting process improvements where needed

Customer Service & Sales Support:
• Handling customer inquiries and managing assigned accounts through to booking completion
• Coordinating with operations teams, overseas partners, and agents to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Supporting the sales team by providing timely quotations and promoting company services

Internal Coordination & Reporting:
• Liaising with internal departments and communicating pricing updates effectively
• Assisting with process enhancement initiatives and preparing basic revenue or trend-related reports

Qualifications & experience requirements:
• UAE-based candidates available for immediate joining
• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding pricing and customer service
• Strong existing contacts with UAE airlines and shipping lines
• Proficiency in MS Office applications with basic analytical capabilities
