Job Description
- Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a client in the food manufacturing industry, is recruiting a Mechanical Technician to support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of factory machinery.
- This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands manufacturing environments and takes pride in safe, accurate, and timely mechanical work.
Key qualifications include:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing or factory machinery
- Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and reduce downtime
- Experience working with rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machines
- Good organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
