Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare cash calls and distributions using the investment accounting module.
- Prepare cash call and distribution notices.
- Reconcile capital balances between the investment accounting module and the general ledger (GL).
- Record journal entries and prepare financial statements for investment entities.
- Process monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) rollups in the investment accounting module.
- Maintain entity-level waterfall models for promote calculations.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; able to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Experience with industry-standard Investment Accounting Systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in real estate investment accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, investment accounting, finance, or administration.
- Knowledge of U.S. investment-related laws is a plus.
- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles related to investment valuation and reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
