ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Knowledge and Market Research:
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's products including clients and projects requirements, specifications, and design concepts.
- Keep abreast with market changes, competitive products, and client preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments and opportunities.
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Promptly respond to customer enquiries, giving accurate and thorough information about products
- Effectively and proactively close sales to achieve or surpass individual and team monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Prepare accurate quotations based on clients’ requirements and the available pricing guidelines.
- Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Keep a current, accurate opportunity list while keeping track of leads and prospects.
- Prepare weekly reports including a summary of the status of the opportunity list, every Monday at 9 a.m.
- Enter and scan all necessary customer details into the SAP system, including PIN, ID, account opening forms, and credit control #checks.
- Follow up on existing customer database, quotes issued, and inquiries to convert them into sales.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and expand the client base by acquiring new clients and converting them into repeat customers.
- With a concentration on contractors, try to attract at least four new recurring clients each month.
- Support the growth of new sales channels like dealer networks and aim to add two new dealers at least once a month.
- Ensure timely updating and maintenance of customer information in the SAP system.
Sales Administration and Documentation:
- Manage all sales administration functions, including proper filing of documents, such as quotes and orders, both in SAP and hard copies.
- Follow the order to completion from sales to delivery, ensuring secure payments and accurate dispatch of goods against verified delivery notes.
- Assist with debtor follow-up and provide updates on collections.
- Support promotional activities and maintain clean and presentable showrooms for customer visits.
Coordination and Communication:
- Work together with internal departments to provide efficient communication, quality control, timely delivery, and fulfilment of client demands.
- Create management information reports that track actual sales and costs versus estimates as well as daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales forecasts and marketing budgets.
- Proactively generate at least 10 new leads per month through lead generation and follow-up activities.
- Any other duties assigned.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in sales and marketing, business administration, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of the market dynamics.
- Proficiency in using SAP system and other sales-related software.
- Prior experience in a similar environment/industry is a plus
