Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across dairy, beef, and goat operations.
- Oversee all crop farming activities, including hay, maize, and wheat cultivation.
- Implement cost-effective and sustainable agricultural practices to improve productivity and profitability.
- Develop and enforce operating procedures and schedules for all farm operations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor costs, and work towards financial independence from other group businesses.
- Supervise, train, and motivate farm staff to deliver on set production and operational goals.
- Maintain infrastructure, equipment, and ensure effective use of farm assets.
- Regularly report on performance, risks, and progress to the Managing Director.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Experience in large-scale livestock and crop farming, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of dairy production, beef cattle management, and crop cycles.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, farm budgeting, and reporting.
- Proven team leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
- Salary: Monthly gross Salary: Kes 60,000-70,000 (Approx 465USD)
