Your mission at Sistema.bio:
- The Graphic and Multimedia Designer is responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality visual content for sistema.bio Africa. The role ensures all creative outputs are visually strong, on-brand, and fit for purpose across digital, print, and multimedia channels, while aligning with global brand standards and local context
You’ll be in charge of:
Creative Development and Brand Execution
- Designing and delivering strong visual assets across digital, print, and motion formats.
- Developing templates, design systems, and reusable asset libraries to support consistent and efficient content creation.
- Producing campaign visuals tailored for multiple platforms and audiences.
Digital and Multimedia Content Production
- Owning the full production cycle for short-form video, motion graphics, and platform-specific assets, from concept to final delivery.
- Ensuring content meets accessibility standards and follows best practices for each platform.
Project and Stakeholder Management
- Managing creative requests through a clear intake and prioritization process.
- Coordinating closely with Commercial, TechOps, Global Creative, and other internal teams to deliver on briefs.
- Liaising with external vendors and freelancers when required, ensuring quality and timelines are met.
Creative Direction for Photo and Video
- Leading and direct photo and video shoots, including defining storytelling approaches and creative briefs.
- Building and maintaining a well-organized, searchable audio-visual library with clear metadata and documentation.
Quality Assurance and Brand Governance
- Reviewing and auditing externally produced materials to ensure brand consistency and quality.
- Enforcing brand guidelines across all Kenya and Africa materials.
- Implementing updates from global brand guidelines, adapting and localizing them for regional use as needed.
- Maintaining and updating regional brand tools and resources to reflect current standards.
More about YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication or similar. (Mandatory)
- At least 5 -years' experience within a company or creative agency.
- Proven experience managing design projects and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to interpret briefs and translate requirements into compelling visual outputs for different audiences.
- Advanced skills handling Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel Draw, Canva, Premier, and WordPress
- Solid video editing skills, including motion graphics and short-form content
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Swahili.
- Advanced photography skills, with strong photo editing and post-production knowledge.
- Basic experience with technical and mechanical drawings is a bonus.
- Excellent freehand sketching and drawing skills are a bonus.
