Job Description
The Program Officer (PO) at MIRAL Welfare Foundation Kenya will play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing projects focused on community impact and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The PO will work closely with community partners and stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement community development projects in alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and outcomes, ensuring that targets are met and impact is achieved.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status and outcomes to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures in all project activities.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Diploma in Project Management, Community Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the humanitarian or non-profit sector is an advantage.
