Job Description

About the Client:

  • Our client is a high standard, & hands on commercial cleaning service company dedicated to providing its clients the best cleaning and maintenance strategies. Our client is looking for a cleaner who will be responsible for the general cleanliness of their facility.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations within assigned premises.
  • Allocate duties to cleaning staff and monitor performance to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure cleaning materials, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
  • Train, guide, and motivate cleaning staff for optimal performance.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Enforce compliance with company health, safety, and hygiene policies.
  • Handle and resolve staff or client complaints related to cleaning services.
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly cleaning and maintenance reports.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum KCSE Certificate; Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping, Environmental Science, or related field is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and modern cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • High levels of integrity and accountability.
