Job Description

Structural Engineering Intern

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Category: Engineering, Technical

Salary: Kshs. 15,000 - Kshs. 20,000

Employment Type: Internship

Education: Degree, Diploma

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers in designing, planning, and overseeing structural engineering projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of technical reports and project documentation.
  • Help in the analysis of structural components using appropriate software and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to project meetings and discussions.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
