Job Overview

Brites Management Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Batching Plant Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction, and will be responsible for the efficient and productive operation of the batching plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the batching plant to produce high-quality concrete for construction projects.
  • Ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the batching plant equipment.
  • Monitor and control the batching process to ensure the quality and consistency of the concrete.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and quality control data.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years proven experience as a Batching Plant Operator or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of concrete batching technology and plant operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to plant operations.
