Job Overview

Kilimall is seeking a skilled and dedicated Human Resource Officer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and an understanding of HR operations. This role is crucial in helping us manage our employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an HR Officer, or other HR position.
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
