Job Overview
Premier Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations within our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of qualified healthcare professionals and staff.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations and hospital standards.
Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system.
Provide guidance and support to department managers on HR-related matters.
Facilitate effective communication and promote a positive work environment across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
