Job Overview

Premier Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations within our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of qualified healthcare professionals and staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations and hospital standards.
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information system.
  • Provide guidance and support to department managers on HR-related matters.
  • Facilitate effective communication and promote a positive work environment across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
