Job Summary

Equity Afia Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse in-Charge to lead our team in Luanda, Vihiga. The successful candidate will oversee the nursing staff and coordinate patient care to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with medical personnel and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans and ensure compliance with medical standards and procedures.
  • Monitor patient care and treatment plans, ensuring they are carried out effectively.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Handle patient complaints and resolve issues to improve patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Registered and licensed with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Proven experience in nursing practice, particularly in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
