° Our client, a leading company in the security sector, is seeking to hire an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of workplace health, safety, and environmental standards across their operations. The role is key in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
° Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
° Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
° Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports.
° Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees.
° Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other statutory regulations.
° Maintain accurate records on safety inspections, incidents, and compliance reports.
° Collaborate with management to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Requirements:
° Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
° Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety (experience in the security sector will be an added advantage).
° Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
° Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
° Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
