Our client, a well-established restaurant brand, is urgently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Supervisor to join their Nairobi branches. The role holder will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise restaurant staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Support the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating service.
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Monitor stock usage and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation in the restaurant.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
