RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, dosas, and street food. Follow traditional Indian cooking techniques and use authentic spices and ingredients.
Ensure timely preparation and presentation of meals according to restaurant standards.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Manage inventory and assist in sourcing high-quality ingredients.
Monitor and control food costs while minimizing waste. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and experiment with new Indian recipes to enhance the menu.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Certification in Culinary Arts or relevant training is a plus.
