Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and marketing expense controls. Execute said plan and meet sales goals. Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales teamand provide ongoingtraining of the salespeople. Assist in recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoringofsales representatives.
- Develop new avenues of marketing and lead generation.
- Equip the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective consumers andother related industries to help strengthen partnerships. Leverage the existing network and expand the company’s product reachandrepeatbusiness through relationship building and exceptional customer experience.
- Strategic reporting on all sales activities including sales and prospectingactivities, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A diploma/degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field – from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience handling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods. (FMCG) with at least 1 year’s experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Spoken and written English communication with the highest standardsofprofessionalism is required.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management. Must be a fast learner, highly self-motivated, capable of producing high-impactwork without supervision, adaptable, and self-confident. High business acumen with excellent presentation and communication skills. Driven with a persuasive, enthusiastic, and client-centric focus.
- Experience in General Trade (GT ) is an Added Advantage
