JOB PURPOSE:
To support surgical teams by preparing, maintaining, and operating theatre equipment and instruments, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and safe use of resources during surgical procedures.
The Theatre Technician plays a critical role in maintaining patient safety, infection control, and operational efficiency within the theatre.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in theatre technician from a recognized institution. Minimum of 3 or more years' experience and one MUST be in theatre.
