Responsibilities and duties
Commit to attend all days of training and data collection period.
Obtain and document informed consent from study participants before the interviews.
Conduct and record all interviews held with respondents using Survey CTO.
Participate in daily debrief meetings.
Be a custodian of the APHRC data collection equipment during field work.
Observe safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum requirements
KCSE certificate with a minimum of Grade C
Proven experience in quantitative data collection and electronic data capture.
Strong communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
Available to work full-time on the project for the duration of the study.
Resident in one of the counties of Turkana.
Fluent in both oral and written English and Swahili. Familiarity with local languages spoken in the target counties is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively and collaborate with a large research team.
Availability should be immediate.
