Responsibilities
Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to established standards.
Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, hallways, staircases, and other common areas.
Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linen.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used, stored, and maintained.
Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning, preferably in the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.
Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and Physical stamina to perform cleaning promptly, escalating where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used.
Support in special cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor.
