QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Sociology, Systems Thinking, or other related Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mapping and assessing systems related to Seeds, Sustainable Farming, Inclusive Markets & Trade, Policy & State Capability, and Youth Employment.
- Demonstrated expertise in outcome mapping, as well as in the design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative evaluations.
- Strong scientific publication record, including journal articles, conference papers, or book chapters, focused on systems mapping and qualitative or mixed-methods evaluations.
- Practical knowledge of market systems development (MSD) approaches, value chain analysis, and inclusive agribusiness models in Africa.
- Experience in multi-country research work in Agriculture, Agribusiness, and related fields.
