Key Duties/Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
Coordinate and execute day-to-day sales activities, including order processing, delivery confirmation, and payment collection.
Follow established route plans and customer visit schedules, ensuring full coverage of assigned accounts.
Achieve and exceed daily sales targets by applying effective selling methodologies.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and professional interactions.
Merchandising & Product Management
Implement Mini Bakeries’ merchandising standards, ensuring proper product placement, displays, and brand presentation.
Monitor freshness of products, removing damaged, expired, or substandard stock and processing returns per company policy.
Gather customer feedback on product quality, service, and competitor activity for reporting to management.
Market Development & Intelligence
Identify and pursue potential new customers, sales channels, and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Track consumer responses to new products and promotions, relaying insights to Sales and Marketing teams.
Provide accurate market intelligence on competitor activities and local conditions.
Operations & Coordination
Maintain close coordination with Shop Attendants, Turnboys, and Drivers to ensure alignment on sales and service standards.
Collaborate with operations teams to optimize route efficiency, delivery timing, and market coverage.
Prepare and submit accurate reports (e.g., route visit reports, sales activities, and customer feedback).
Update customer and route details to ensure effective scheduling and coverage.
Key Outputs/Deliverables/KPIs (including but not limited to)
Achievement of daily sales targets with optimal product mix.
Effective product freshness management with minimal returns.
Strong customer relationships influencing repeat orders and loyalty.
Timely resolution of customer issues, maintaining service excellence.
Efficient route execution maximizing selling time and market penetration.
Accurate reporting of competitive intelligence and market insights.
Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience Required
Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG field sales, preferably in direct store delivery or route sales.
Professional qualification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.
Proven success in field sales, customer relationship management, and merchandising.
