Role Overview
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for building, testing, and supporting automations on the Microsoft Power Platform. Working under the guidance of the Lead Automation Engineer and alongside the client stakeholders, they will transform mapped workflows into secure, efficient, and reusable solutions. Engineers are also expected to contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to strengthen the team’s delivery capability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy defined automations per sprint based on pre-mapped workflows.
Contribute to solution documentation, ensuring clarity for ongoing support and reusability.
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, sharing learnings and technical approaches.
Apply reusable components/templates wherever possible to maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders during UAT to validate solutions.
Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and post-deployment improvements.
Support citizen developers by contributing reusable templates, starter components, and technical assistance under defined governance.
Requirements
Preferred Skills
2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
JavaScript/TypeScript (custom functions, API integrations)
C# / .NET (custom connectors, Azure Functions)
SQL / T-SQL (Dataverse and database-driven automations)
PowerShell (environment automation, admin tasks)
Python (data transformation, advanced integrations)
Experience collaborating with and training users.
Strong problem-solving and testing skills.
Ability to translate process diagrams into effective automations.
Detail-oriented and eager to learn from senior team members.
