Job Description

Job Purpose Statement

 

As part of the global Markets leadership team, you are to drive the evolution of Global Markets FX client franchise and oversee the Global Markets sales strategy and effort across a range of institutional, corporate and retail clients. Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge, industry expertise and business acumen to develop market risk management solutions to clients covering FX, interest rates and capital market products offerings.

 

This entails ensuring a strategic and a coordinated sales focus on servicing the treasury needs of both existing and new clients with the aim of maximizing profitability for the bank.

 

To provide product support to the Global Markets Sales staff, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements.

 

This includes compliance with the local banking laws, other applicable laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines. Regularly assume leadership roles within teams and involved in coaching and training of new recruits.

 

Ideal Job Specifications

Academic:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

 

A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM- Financial Risk Manager, ACIAssociation Cambiste Internationale) is an added advantage.

 

Desired work experience:

 

Minimum 10 years of experience in financial markets, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within treasury,sales, orstructuring teams.

 

Proven expertise in foreign exchange, derivatives, and structured financial products.

 

Strong regulatory knowledge and experience in risk management and compliance.

 

Demonstrated ability to build strategic client relationships and drive revenue growth in global markets.

 

Track record of leading high-performing teams and executing successful sales strategies.
