Responsibilities
Ensure timely and safe conveyance of staffcand materials as instructed.
Drop off and pick up staff and businesscpartners from meetings, the airport, etc.
Comply with all traffic rules and regulations. Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness (inside and out) at all times.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for defects.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including changing oil, refueling, checking/changing batteries, and minor repairs.
Identify electrical or mechanical faults and report them to the supervisor for professional repair.
Report any mishaps, accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to the supervisor immediately. Maintain a detailed travel log recording areas, times, and work hours.
Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance.
Pay tolls and handle other fundamental vehicle expenses.
Perform other undertakings as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum Education: KCSE certificate.
Experience: At least 5 years of driving experience preferably with extensive experience in truck driving.
Valid License: Must possess a valid driving license with Categories C and D1.
Good Conduct: A valid certificate of good conduct is required.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Logistics Familiarity: Desirable to have familiarity with logistics operations and documentation.
