Job Description

DESCRIPTION

 

Assisting in preparation of anesthesia, ensuring cleanliness of the theatre,sluicing used linen and instruments,packing and sterilizing of surgical packs/instruments

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Assemble equipment’s and requirements for induction and reversal of anesthesia

 

Checking the anesthetic and suction machines for working condition in liaison with the theatre in charge. from and to the operating table.

 

Perform high cleaning and dusting of the entire operating area

 

Participate in positioning of the patient for the surgical procedure.

 

Assisting in lifting of the patients during transfer

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technician
