What You'll Be Doing
Illustrate characters, animals, and lively scenes for children educational books, activity kits, and storytelling visuals,
Create illustrations inspired by nature, Afro-folk, and traditional African motifs
Design illustrations for merchandise like notebooks, tote bags, wall art, apparel, and stickers
Collaborate with designers to visualize African nature and tales as well as learning materials
Contribute to product mockups, packaging art, and playful brand campaigns
Add humor, imagination, and just the right amount of magic to each brush stroke.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor degree in Arts and Design (Illustration) or any similar creative field.
Proficient in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, or other digital drawing tools
Experience: 1–2 years (a strong portfolio is your best resume!)
You draw like it’s your first language — from elephants in boots to dancing mangoes.
A playful, Afrocentric style or the ability to develop one
Comfortable with feedback and open collaboration
Bonus if you’ve worked with kids' content or Afro-inspired merchandise before
