Roles/Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure effective / efficient implementation of bank-wide policies.
Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
Plan and report on Marketing calls for the unit
Provide on-the job training for Account Officers/RO’s & RM’s
Negotiate foreign exchange and credit rates with customers within limits set by the bank to ensure maximum profitability to the bank
Prepare and present the Unit’s Monthly Profitability Report (MPR) to management
Appraise all staff under supervision
Supervise activities of operations staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers
Ensure that the unit has adequate allocation of resources to enable it meet stated objectives
Ensures the ambience of the branch is in line with the standard of the bank
Ensures smooth administrative running of the branch.
Maintains all the infrastructure of the bank and ensures they are in good working condition
Monitor Branch Performance against Monthly/Quarterly & Annual Plans
Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Operating Officer/Head of Retail/Zonal Manager
Grow and retain existing Business within the Branch
Manage the Branch Budget
Monitor and ensure customers’ compliance with credit agreements
Ensure zero operational losses at the Branch
Skills & Qualifications
First degree in any Business related discipline. Masters in Business Administration or Banking & Finance and professional qualification will be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a bank/ financial institution.
