Job Description
Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence in Kenya. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, sales, and relationship management, with a deep understanding of the Kenyan market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in Kenya.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and close business deals to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in Kenya.
- Proven track record of achieving premium sales targets and business growth.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Kenyan business landscape, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an industry relevant to the company (e.g., technology, finance, FMCG, healthcare, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable business strategies.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business growth.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is an added advantage.
