Job Description
Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales, Marketing & Communications Executive to enhance the visibility, reputation, and revenue of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing effective sales and marketing strategies, managing communication channels, and ensuring a seamless connection between the restaurant and its target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve restaurant revenue goals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners, corporate clients, and event organizers to drive group bookings and private dining sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote menu offerings, events, and special promotions.
- Develop and manage an annual marketing plan aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
- Ensure marketing efforts are data-driven, tracking campaign performance and ROI.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create attractive menus and promotional materials.
Digital & Social Media Management
- Oversee and manage the restaurant's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and others.
- Create engaging and creative content to enhance brand presence online.
- Plan and execute paid digital advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.
- Respond to online reviews and inquiries promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Brand Communications
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication platforms.
- Craft compelling press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other content to highlight the restaurant’s offerings.
- Work with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage for the restaurant’s events, new menu launches, and other highlights.
- Represent the restaurant at industry events and community activities to build brand awareness.
Event Planning & Promotion
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to plan and market events such as themed nights, live entertainment, and food festivals.
- Create marketing materials and campaigns to attract attendance and increase revenue for events.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure successful execution of events.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through loyalty programs, personalized communications, and surveys.
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention and repeat business.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring excellent guest experiences at all touchpoints.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales and marketing performance, market trends, and ROI.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software.
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications (Kes 10,000-18,000).
