Job Description
The Role
- Our International Development team is looking for an Executive to work on clients across a mix of global development issues, such as climate change, global health, gender equality, etc. Professional fluency in French will be required.
- The Executive will be required to carry out the following key tasks within the International team:
- Staying on top of trends and news in the international development space
- Supporting with the delivery of client programmes across philanthropy, global health, and climate sectors
- Drafting communications content including press releases, opinion pieces, website copy, and social media posts, etc.
- Conducting global media activities, including sell-ins to global anglophone and francophone media, preparing journalist biographies and briefing notes for clients
- Preparing and maintaining media distribution lists for press releases
- Carrying out research and analysis to inform client strategies, including digital, media, and policy audits
Key Requirements
- Fluency in English and French
- Strong written communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in international development, global health or sustainability,
- Previous experience or internships in policy, communications, media relations and digital campaigning beneficial
