Role-

The social media and Events Coordinator reports to and supports the Events and Communications Manager. This role is designed to assist in the development and execution of social media strategies and the planning and organization of events. This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and event coordination while working for one of the UAE's largest and most prestigious property development brands.

Responsibilities-

  • Assist in creating, editing, and publishing engaging content (text, images, videos) for various social media platforms.
  • Help maintain and update the content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
  • Ensure all events are covered on social media and stories posted in real-time
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the community by responding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the development of community engagement strategies to increase follower interaction and engagement.
  • Support the Events and Communications Manager in planning and organising company events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and execution.
  • Assist in developing event timelines, schedules, and checklists to ensure smooth execution
  • Provide on-site support during events, including management, social media live coverage, attending events within communities
  • Maintain organised records of social media content, event plans, and other relevant documents.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure cohesive social media strategies and event planning.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Events and Communications Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in social media management, event planning, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Driving license mandatory.
