Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MEP Procurement Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services needed for MEP projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and select suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluate responses.
- Conduct cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project schedules.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to clarify technical specifications and resolve issues.
- Oversee the ordering process from requisition to final delivery.
- Prepare procurement documentation and reports in accordance with ISO standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related area such as supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and materials.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel & ERP.
- Previous experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
