Ngao Credit Limited, a non-deposit taking Micro-Finance Institution (MFI), was incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act (Cap 486) of the Laws of Kenya, on March 20, 2008 and commenced operations on July 1, 2009. Ngao Credit Limited (hereafter referred to as NCL) is also licensed by the City Council of Nairobi to provide small scale financial services such us Secured loans, Cheque cashing, import financing, asset financing and quick loans. NCL is a member of the Association of Microfinance Institutions of Kenya (AMFI), a member Institution registered in 1999 under the Societies Act by the leading Microfinance Institutions in Kenya to build capacity of the microfinance industry. Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our logbook loan products, providing financial advice to clients, and ensuring excellent customer service.
This role requires strong sales skills, financial acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Promotion: Actively seek out and engage with potential customers to promote and sell logbook loans and other credit products.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Financial Advisory: Provide clients with sound financial advice and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Market Research: Identify market opportunities and trends to maximize sales potential.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our financial products and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Financial literacy and a good understanding of credit products.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
