Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to hire a Credit Controller. The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling the credit and debt collection process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and minimizing credit risks for the business.

• Ability to analyze financial data and statements; Attention to Detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Strong Technical Proficiency with Accounting Software, ERP (SAP), Microsoft Excel and Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must have worked in a FMCG Industry in a similar role for a minimum of 5 Years.
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Credit Control.

Skills required

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Legal knowledge related to debt recovery and collections.
• Knowledge of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and enforce credit policies.
• Strategic thinking and planning.
• Good understanding of customer payment behavior and patterns to predict potential issues.
• Develop and negotiate payment plans with customers facing financial difficulties.
• Teamworks in order to be able to use commercial team to collect debt.
