ICRHK Hiring Registered Clinical Officer / Registered Nurse

Reporting to the Head of Clinicians/Nursing at the CGT&RH and ICRHK Senior Program Officer GBV, the Clinician / Nurse will be responsible for the overall clinical management of survivors/patients at the CGT&RH – GBVRC. She / he will be responsible in ensuring compliance with GBV management guidelines and SOPs at the centre, support the GBV program team in developing and designing concept notes, policy briefs and proposals using the GBV dataset.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Clinical Medicine or Nursing with a valid license and at least 2 years’ experience of continuous clinical/nursing in a hospital/clinic or similar work Experience working in a GBVR Centre will be a distinct advantage
- Certified Experience offering trauma counseling to child survivors will be an added advantage
- Good clinical practice training is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, patient service and multi-tasking skills are critical
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to proactively identify and solve problems and demonstrate initiative is imperative
- Experience in establishing and sustaining working relationships with the, county, sub-county and health providers at facility level
- Deep understanding of standards of care, patient/survivor privacy, GBV laws and safety is critical
- Software; Proficiency with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic health systems and databases used in the facility)
- Communication; Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills required
- Detail oriented and meticulous in all aspects of work
