Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport has inaugurated Terminal 2, completing a major redevelopment of Terminals 1 and 2.

The upgrade increases combined capacity from 6 million to 14 million passengers annually, over 130% growth, while modernizing infrastructure, design, and passenger facilities.

Prince Faisal bin Bandar highlighted Riyadh’s rise as a global hub, with the airport contributing 2.2% to GDP and supporting 66,000 jobs.

The expansion strengthens Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, boosting tourism, airline growth, and regional connectivity. Terminal 2 positions King Khalid Airport as a strategic aviation and architectural landmark.
