Until they try to do it.
Because from the outside, it looks easy.
A catchy slogan.
A nice design.
A clever ad.
But behind every "simple" campaign are hours of research, testing, and a dozen failed drafts no one ever sees.
Marketing isn’t just about creativity — it’s about psychology, timing, and understanding what makes people care.
The best marketers don’t just make things look good.
They make things work.
And that kind of simplicity only comes from complexity.
From the process of trying, failing, and refining over and over again.
Marketing done well feels effortless.
But that ease is earned.
What’s one thing you’ve learned that looked easy until you actually tried to do it? less

If you left your job tomorrow, your company would replace you in 48 hours.

You are replaceable i... moreYou can be replaced at work.
But never at home.
A hard truth most people learn too late.
If you left your job tomorrow, your company would replace you in 48 hours.
But your family? Your friends?
They’d never recover the same way.
You are replaceable in your position.
But irreplaceable in your relationships.
The world rewards productivity.
But it’s people who make life meaningful.
So while you chase deadlines, don’t lose sight of dinner tables.
While you invest in your career, don’t underinvest in connection.
Because success means nothing
if you have no one to share it with.
Here’s how leaders (and humans) can shift that:
1️⃣ Celebrate people, not just performance.
2️⃣ Build a culture where empathy > ego.
3️⃣ Encourage breaks without guilt.
4️⃣ Support life outside of work.
5️⃣ Lead like you actually care because it shows.
At the end of the day, your legacy won’t be your job title.
It’ll be how you made people feel.
So yes, work hard.
Be ambitious.
Build something that matters.
But don’t do it at the cost of the people who actually love you.
They deserve your presence, not just your leftovers.
Jobs will come and go.
Titles will change.
But the people in your life, they’re the real investment.
So value people over positions.
Because no promotion will ever replace true connection.

A candidate recently attended an interview at one of the Abu Dhabi offices. The interview was scheduled on a Sunday, and the candidate had to travel approximately 185 km from Dubai, taking over 2 hours and covering travel expenses personally. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. While the interviewer appreciated the candidate’s experience and expected package, the current project wasn’t a fit, and the CV has been kept on record for a future project.
I would like to kindly request that for candidates traveling long distances and incurring expenses, an online interview be arranged before a face-to-face meeting with management. This would save time and costs for both candidates and the company.

Many job seekers in UAE prepare extensively, travel long distances, and invest genuine effort and emotion into every opportunity. When the process turns out to be a formality, it doesn’t just break confidence — it breaks trust in the hiring system.
Let’s promote fairness, transparency, and respect in every recruitment process. Real professionals value honesty more than rejection.

But the truth is — the people who get hired faster don’t apply more.
They apply smart.
For weeks, my inbox stayed quiet.
Just a few polite rejections and one message:
“We’re moving forward with other candidates.”
That’s when I stopped everything.
I closed the job portals and thought —
“What if I focused on one good job instead of 50 random ones?”
So I started reading job posts carefully, learning what companies really want.
Then I reached out to hiring managers personally, not with copy-paste messages.
Guess what?
My messages started getting replies.
Real conversations. Real interest.
That’s when I learned:
✅ You don’t need to apply to every job.
✅ You need to apply to the right ones — with intention.
Slow down. Research. Personalize. Connect.
That’s how you stand out. 💪

From the CVs I’ve revamped, I’ve noticed that many professionals miss out on great roles, not because they aren’t qualified, but because their CVs don’t effectively communicate their value.
Here’s what usually goes wrong (and how to fix it):
1. Outdated Design
If your CV still looks like it’s from the early 2000s, it’s doing you more harm than good.
📌 Fix: Use a clean, modern layout that’s easy to scan. Avoid unnecessary colors or fancy fonts.
2. Generic Job Descriptions
Listing tasks isn’t enough, recruiters want to see your results.
❌ Managed social media accounts
✅ Grew Instagram followers by 60% in 6 months through targeted campaigns
3. Missing Keywords
If your CV doesn’t reflect what recruiters are searching for, it might never make it through screening systems.
📌 Fix: Study the job post and naturally use relevant keywords throughout your CV, especially in your experience and skills sections.
4. Too Long
Recruiters don’t have time to read everything.
📌 Fix: Keep it to one or two pages. Focus on the most relevant and impactful experiences.
5. No Achievements Highlighted
Your CV should sell your strengths, not hide them.
📌 Fix: Add measurable results and achievements wherever possible.
✅ Increased sales by 90% in 6 months
✅ Trained 10+ new hires, reducing onboarding time by 70%
Bottom Line:
Your CV should make recruiters excited to call you. If it’s not doing that, it’s time for a professional revamp.

As a recruiter, I easily receive 50+ CVs a day.
And you’d be surprised how many get overlooked — not because of poor experience, but because of poor presentation.
Common mistakes I still see:
❌ No subject line
❌ Just an attachment — no hello, no context
❌ A one-liner: “Here is my CV”
Your CV matters.
But your email is the first thing recruiters see.
If it looks blank or careless, that’s already a weak first impression.
Here’s what actually helps you stand out 👇
1️⃣ Always send your CV in PDF format, not as a screenshot or image.
2️⃣ Proofread — typos in your email or CV send the wrong signal.
3️⃣ Keep your message short, polite, and professional.
✅ The CV shows your skills.
✅ The email shows your professionalism.
Both count.
If you’re not sure what to write, save this post — it might help you land your next opportunity.
