I would say:
“I don’t assume I am the smartest person in the room. But I know I am one of the most reliable. Skills can be trained.
Experience can be gained. What’s harder to teach is ownership. If something has my name on it, it gets done properly.

Here’s what people are actually dealing with:
1. Applying for roles that were never truly open
2. Internal hires dressed up as public opportunities
3. Applicant Tracking Systems rejecting qualified humans based on keywords
4. Uploading your resume… then manually re-entering the same information
5. Creating new profiles on every hiring platform
6. Never hearing back after submitting an application
7. Being ghosted after one, two or even five interviews
8. Being asked to complete unpaid “assignments” that resemble real consulting work
9. Multi-round interview processes stretching across months
10. Personality tests used to filter out anyone not “cookie-cutter” enough
11. “Culture fit” quietly excluding difference
12. Entry-level roles demanding years of experience
13. Inflated qualification requirements
14. No salary transparency
15. Being low-balled after lengthy processes
16. Remote roles advertised that aren’t actually remote
17. Scam jobs harvesting data
18. Recruiters disappearing mid-process
19. Endless “We went with another candidate” emails
20. Reapplying to the same company multiple times with zero feedback
21. Age bias
22. Appearance bias
23. Career break bias
24. Non-linear career bias
25. Automated rejection within minutes
26. Interview panels asking identical questions you already answered
27. Being told you’re “overqualified”
28. Being told you’re “not experienced enough”
29. Spending 20+ hours tailoring applications with no response

Hiring should not feel like humiliation.
It should feel like a professional conversation between adults.

If you’ve ever opened another rejection email, stared at your screen and thought, “Maybe it’s just me… maybe I’m actually unhireable,”
this one’s for you.
Here’s the truth: in this current market, a lot of brilliant, experienced, qualified people are feeling like that.
Not because they’re not good enough…
…but because:
* Roles are fewer, applicants are many
* ATS systems are savage
* Auto-rejections arrive faster than your CV can even upload
* And sometimes you’re ghosted after round three like you never existed 💀
That doesn’t mean you’re unhireable. It often means you’re:
* Unseen: your CV isn’t making it past the filters
* Unheard: your story doesn’t come through on paper
* Unfortunate: wrong timing, wrong market, right person
Some things are worth checking honestly:
* Do my CV and LinkedIn actually show impact, or just responsibilities?
* Am I tailoring, or just spraying and praying?
* Am I relying only on “Apply” buttons and not enough on conversations, referrals and relationships?
But please hear this:
Your value is not determined by an ATS, an auto-reply or a recruiter who never called back.
In this market, rejection is loud.
Stay louder in how you show up, refine, and keep going.
You’re not unhireable.
You’re still undiscovered by the right person, in the right room, at the right time.
Keep showing up. The “yes” only needs to come from one place.
I need to ask this honestly — and I’m asking from a place of exhaustion, not ego.
Why does getting a legitimate remote role directly with a US, UK, or international company feel almost impossible…

Why does getting a legitimate remote role directly with a US, UK, or international company feel almost impossible…
while my feed is full of people saying “It was so easy”?
Because my last two years have looked nothing like that.
Application after application.
“Remote opportunities” that turn out to be scams.
Being asked — repeatedly — to send 1-minute intro videos, my CV, voice notes, and personal details… to complete strangers on the internet.
And lately, I’ll be honest — it’s considered a trusted professional platform, but it’s starting to feel like there are people waiting for vulnerable job seekers.
Waiting for those of us who are desperate enough for real work to keep sharing our information, our faces, our experience — with no guarantees and no accountability.
And here’s the part that really sits heavy with me:
Once my face and my personal CV are shared — where does that information go?
Who keeps it?
Who shares it?
How long does it sit on someone’s device, drive, or inbox?
In a world full of fraud and identity theft, how are we expected to feel okay with this level of exposure?
Especially when we’re applying to the same remote recruiters daily, sending the same personal material over and over, with no feedback, no transparency, and no idea what’s being done with it.
At some point it stops feeling like recruitment and starts feeling unsafe… and deeply demoralising.
Some days, I genuinely feel like I’m failing at something everyone else has figured out.
I’m tired.
Not lazy — tired.
Still trying — but questioning the system.
So here’s my honest ask:
If you’ve landed a real remote role and you’re willing to share what actually worked — or even pass along HR contacts or company names where CVs are genuinely reviewed — I would be incredibly grateful.
And if there are companies or hiring managers reading this who are open to giving someone a legitimate chance — I’m here, experienced, and ready to work.
And to anyone reading this thinking “this is exactly how I feel” — comment anything. Even a dot. Because this process can make you feel incredibly alone.
No hype. No fake positivity. Just honesty. less

When someone resigns without a backup plan, it’s rarely about chasing something better.
It’s about choosing to step away from an environment that no longer feels safe, respectful, or aligned.
People don’t quit “for no reason.”
They leave because staying costs them their peace, confidence, or motivation.
Often, the real reasons are:
• Unhealthy work culture
• Poor leadership or lack of support
• Constant pressure without growth
• An environment that slowly drains self-worth
Walking away takes courage.
Sometimes, protecting your mental well-being is the strongest career decision you can make.
Not every exit is about opportunity
some are about survival and self-respect.

Let’s talk about something that quietly blocks opportunities for many job seekers.
How is a role labeled entry-level…
yet requires 4+ years of experience,
advanced HR knowledge,
multiple software tools,
and the ability to “hit the ground running”?
That’s not entry-level.
That’s mid-level talent at entry-level pay.
This practice doesn’t just frustrate candidates — it shrinks the talent pipeline, discourages young professionals, and makes gaining real work experience unnecessarily difficult.
If companies truly want growth, innovation, and loyalty:
Train people
Create real junior roles.
Stop recycling unrealistic job descriptions.
Everyone starts somewhere.
Let’s stop closing the door before people even get a chance to knock.
