Position: Tuktuk / Motorcycle Sales Representative (5 Vacancies)

Primary Mandate

We are looking for 5 energetic and results-driven Tuktuk / Motorcycle Sales Representatives to spearhead our route-to-market distribution network. Your primary objective is to push the volume and visibility of our fast-moving consumable products across retail kiosks, local shops, and wholesale hubs. Operating your assigned delivery vehicle, you will navigate Nairobi's retail landscape to service existing accounts, map out uncharted territories, and onboard new vendors. This is a highly active, field-based role that demands physical stamina, sharp negotiation skills, and a commitment to meeting daily sales targets.

Core Workstreams

Route Distribution & Merchant Acquisition

  • Sell and deliver consumable products directly to general trade outlets, ensuring optimal route coverage.

  • Onboard new retail stores, kiosks, and wholesalers to steadily expand our market footprint.

  • Review merchant inventory levels during site visits to advise on and execute immediate stock replenishment.

  • Guarantee the prompt fulfillment of customer orders while managing payment collection and processing.

Relationship Management & Intelligence Gathering

  • Cultivate dependable partnerships with local shopkeepers and traders to secure long-term brand loyalty.

  • Educate customers on active product promotions, bulk discounts, and new arrivals.

  • Address and resolve vendor complaints or logistics friction on the ground with professional courtesy.

  • Monitor competitor actions, pricing adjustments, and localized demand patterns to report to management.

Logistics Coordination & Accountability

  • Secure the safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of your assigned Tuktuk or motorcycle.

  • Maintain precise records of daily stock allocations, successful sales, and inventory returns.

  • Draft daily route activity logs and financial reconciliation sheets with absolute accuracy.

  • Adhere strictly to company transit guidelines and national traffic safety regulations during operation.

Expertise Profile

The Essentials

  • Licensure: A valid, clean riding license for a Motorcycle, Tuktuk, or both is completely mandatory.

  • Experience: Proven background as a Tuktuk salesman, commercial rider salesperson, or FMCG distributor rep.

  • Market Familiarity: Strong practical knowledge of general trade mechanics and Nairobi's retail routes.

  • Physical Fitness: Fully willing and capable of handling extensive outdoor field operations and product loading.

Required Competencies

  • Territory Navigation: Ability to plot efficient daily routes to maximize merchant touchpoints.

  • Persuasive Selling: Skilled at pitching products to busy traders and closing volume sales on the spot.

  • Self-Regulation: Highly disciplined to work independently without constant visual supervision.
