Position Title: TukTuk / Motorbike Sales Representative (3 Positions)

Direct Line Reporting: Route Distribution Supervisor

Industry Sector: FMCG

Gross Salary Structure: Kshs. 25,000

Role Purpose

We are looking for three energetic, self-motivated TukTuk / Motorbike Sales Representatives to boost our last-mile distribution network. Your main goal is to drive daily product volumes by delivering stock directly to retail shops, kiosks, and general trade outlets within your assigned sector. This role balances active field riding with proactive trade sales; you will navigate daily delivery routes, collect shop orders, and manage on-the-spot cash payments. The position calls for an honest, target-driven rider-salesperson who knows how to build friendly rapport with local shopkeepers while maintaining complete accountability for stock and cash.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Sales Logistics & Last-Mile Distribution

  • Deliver and sell company inventory directly to retail shops and diverse general trade buyers across your assigned territory.

  • Maintain a highly efficient daily schedule to ensure all customer orders are delivered safely and on time.

  • Execute daily field sales strategies to hit and exceed weekly and monthly transactional volume quotas.

Route Mastery & Account Coverage

  • Map out and follow assigned field routes systematically to minimize transit delays and save fuel.

  • Ensure 100% market coverage by visiting every active retail shop within your designated area.

  • Maintain a consistent visit schedule to secure repeat orders and prevent stock shortages on retail shelves.

Merchant Relations & Market Expansion

  • Build stable, friendly relationships with local shopkeepers, kiosk owners, and general wholesalers.

  • Address merchant inquiries quickly and handle feedback professionally to ensure high client satisfaction.

  • Actively scout your route for new retail shops to open up fresh sales accounts and increase brand presence.

Stock Reconciliation & Revenue Reporting

  • Take total responsibility for the safety, storage, and reconciliation of all inventory loaded onto your vehicle.

  • Collect customer payments securely at the point of delivery and fill out matching invoices accurately.

  • Compile and hand over clear daily sales logs, delivery summaries, and market trend reports to the supervisor.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Criteria

  • Licensing Requirements: Must hold a valid, clean driving/riding license specifically authorized to operate a TukTuk and/or Motorcycle.

  • Field Experience: Proven experience working as a rider-salesperson, with a distinct advantage given to those who have worked within the FMCG or general trade distribution sectors.

  • Geographical Knowledge: Deep, practical familiarity with Baba Dogo, Nairobi routes, and the surrounding trade lanes.
