Tax Associate

A Dubai-based firm is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Associate to join its finance and taxation team. The role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax reporting, and taxation frameworks, particularly within the UAE or Indian tax systems.

The organization is looking for a motivated individual who can efficiently manage tax-related assignments, ensure compliance with regulations, and support accurate financial reporting across multiple clients and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax computations, filings, and compliance documentation

• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns in accordance with regulations

• Support tax planning, reporting, and advisory activities

• Maintain accurate financial and tax records for clients or internal departments

• Assist in handling audits, assessments, and regulatory queries

• Coordinate with internal finance teams and external stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, rules, and deadlines

• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

• Support senior staff in tax-related research and documentation

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in taxation or finance required

• CA / ACCA / CPA qualification preferred

• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax returns, and tax computation

• Exposure to UAE tax system or Indian Income Tax is highly desirable

• Knowledge of transfer pricing and DTAA will be considered an advantage

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, Sage, and MS Office tools

• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
