Storekeeper

Role Overview

As Storekeeper, you will manage the flow of materials, tools, hardware, and consumables that support interior fit-out work in Dubai. You will keep stock records reliable, store items safely, and coordinate timely issues and replenishment so project and site teams can access what they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and check items and quantities against purchase orders, delivery notes, and approved documents.
• Arrange materials and equipment in suitable storage locations to reduce damage, loss, and waste.
• Issue stock to project, site, and production teams against approved requests, recording each transaction.
• Update inventory records and track transfers among the warehouse, factory, and project sites.
• Monitor stock levels and alert Procurement when items need replenishing.
• Document receipts, issues, returns, and transfers, and report discrepancies or damaged, missing, or excess stock.
• Carry out routine stock checks and assist with monthly and annual inventory counts.
• Keep the store orderly and follow applicable safety practices during storage and material handling.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Three to four years of relevant storekeeping experience, including experience in the UAE.
• Background in interior fit-out or construction is preferred; UAE or wider GCC experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of fit-out materials, hardware, tools, and consumables.
• Understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and safe material handling.
• Ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for stock records and reporting.
• Well-organised, with clear communication and coordination skills.
